    Some useful information
Like other reviewers have said, this book has some useful information in it, but many many inaccuracies as well.

    Seoul City Guide
Great book! Very informative and very helpful. Definitely taking it with me to the city to use. It is small and convenient for packing and carrying.

    Stay Away.
After reading the negatives reviews for this book, I went to B&N to judge for myself. Conclusion, stay away. That is all that I have to say….

buy this as the last resort

    Completely weak
This is one of the only travel books on Seoul that is easy to get. I have taken it with me on three trips to Seoul so far, and have found it almost useless.

    Needs Reworking
Lonely Planet Seoul is poorly organized and riddled with inaccuracies; unfortunately it is the only comprehensive, recent Seoul guide (in English) on the market.

    Lonely Planet
Short passages about all sights and sites one might want to visit. Would be a good book to have there with you as you sightsee.

    Helpful for Newbies
Having never been to Seoul this book was very helpful for finding attractions. I did not use the book for accomodation or dinner recommendations though.

    This book is very informative!
I had lived in Seoul for a year without a guide book. When Lonely Planet’s new edition of “Seoul” was released I decided to buy the book.

Odd views on the Korean people
Since there are not many guides on Korea and Seoul in particular, there isn’t much competition and it shows.
